TSSG Attend eChallenges 2012

The Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG) recently attended eChallenges 2012 which was held from the 17th to 19th October in Lisbon, Portugal.

Frances Cleary, chaired a joint EFFECTS+ and CEFIMS workshop at the event entitled ‘European & National Trust & Security Research Innovation Achievements. Frances also gave a talk entitled ‘Identifying Results, Impacts and Future Research Roadmap Topics’ which focused on the EFFECTS+ Project which she coordinates.

Kevin Quinn, Project Manager at TSSG gave a talk on ‘Identifying Collaboration Opportunities in European Future Internet Research’. Other speakers in the workshop included Nick Papanikolaou, HP Labs, United Kingdom and Barbara Re, University of Camerino, Italy.

EFFECTS+ and CEFIMS are both on-going European Union projects within the Security area of research.
