Dr Alan Davy, Researcher at the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG) attended and chaired at the Wireless Days 2012 Conference from the 21st to 23rd November 2012 which was held in the Burlington hotel in Dublin, as part of the Dublin Wireless Week event.
The Wireless Days Conference is a major international conference which aims to bring together researchers, technologists and visionaries from academia, research centers and industry, engineers and students to exchange, discuss, and share their experiences, ideas and research results about theoretical and practical aspects of wireless networking. The conference has six technical tracks including ad hoc and sensor networks, Broadband wireless and mobile network management.
Dr Davy was invited to chair two technical sessions, in the Wireless Broadband track on Scheduling and Management of Radio Resources and the Wireless Applications track as his own current research focuses on delivery of multimedia services over wireless networks.
