Image from the Training VideoTSSG, as a partner in the EC funded XIFI project, is helping to establish a sustainable marketplace for user trial infrastructures and Future Internet services. This unified framework will be achieved by the integration and federation of multiple heterogeneous environments – starting with the Generic and Specific enablers provided by the FI-WARE platform, coupled with the Use Cases and early trials from the Phase 2 FI-PPP projects.

This approach will demonstrate and validate the potential capabilities of a unified market for Future Internet facilities, overcoming a number of existing limitations, such as fragmentation, interoperability and scalability.

TSSG coordinates the activity centered on the education and training of the various Future Internet stakeholders, training being a key element of the XIFI project. These European stakeholder groups will learn how to effectively use and interact with the XIFI Federation, and to help achieve this the TSSG is producing a series of training videos. The first of these has now been released to a number of media portals, including the project website and Youtube.
