IPACSO had a busy 2 days in Brussels @CSPForum 2015, we had a stand, which facilitated one on one discussions, I had the pleasure one morning to meet Ogus Yilmaz of Labris Networks! IPACSO hosted a double panel session on ‘Incentivising Innovation in Cybersecurity & Privacy Markets’ which included insights from Phillip Mills, CSIT, Belfast, Mark Carolan, ESPION, Nicola Jentzsch, DIW and Bart Renard, VASCO. The CSPForum was co-hosted by the European Commission presenting the info sessions on upcoming Digital Security Calls for H2020. The NIS platform presented its results and input to the Strategic Research Agenda of which IPACSO was a major contribution. In addition it provided an opportunity for demos and success stories from previous FP7 funded research toward investment and widespread implementation. Another stream of NIS WG3 provides deliverables on the Cybersecurity Landscape and Business perspectives.
Brokerage sessions and sessions on policy and standards further provided much fuel for discussion as the Digital Agenda and Cybersecurity Strategy run their course toward implementation at member states. IPACSO took the opportunity to present its award winners with a token of recognition of their contribution to innovation in the Cybersecurity market and then finished off with a meeting of its Innovation Advisory Board (IAB) and the nitty gritty of reviewing the IPACSO framework which is recently available online HERE
