WIT looks to entrepreneurs for ideas

ediWaterford Institute of Technology’s €2.8 million eDigiregion project has opened a call for innovative ideas related to information and communications technology (ICT) that will benefit the development, sustainability and profitability of the “internet of things” or agriculture industries.

The selected concept will receive intensive development, mentoring and commercialisation support in a two-day workshop to be held in May in Bucharest, Romania. The closing date for entries is this Friday March 25th by 5.00 p.m.

sevenEDigiregion project director Prof Bill O’Gorman said concepts can be early-stage ideas for innovative products or services that are targeted at industry or at precision agriculture.
