TSSG at the AIOTI 3rd General Assembly Berlin, Germany

aiotiFrom 29th -30th May 2016, TSSG participated in the AIOTI (Alliance for Internet of things innovation) IoT workshop and the 3rd General assembly at the Funkhaus Hall, Berlin. The Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI) was initiated by the European Commission in order to develop and support the dialogue and interaction among the Internet of Things (IoT) various players in Europe. The overall goal of the AlOTI is the creation of a dynamic European IoT ecosystem to unleash the potentials of the IoT. This ecosystem is going to build on the work of the IoT Research Cluster (IERC) and spill over innovation across industries and business sectors of IoT transforming ideas into solutions and business models.

Representing TSSG, Nakul Wali participated in the IoT workshop on 29th May, 2016 co-organised by MTF, Berlin and sponsored by Element14. Among great developers across Europe presented were the internet celebrity Benjamin Heckendorn and Felix Gardner from the Ben Heck Show. The workshop demonstrated various amazing IoT projects illustrating music as a form of communication.

Addressed by Mario Campollargo, Director of Net futures, DG Connect, the 3rd General assembly on the 30th May 2016 focused on the governance model and elaborated AIOTI roadmap for 2016. For more details, visit AIOTI website. Among 11 work groups, TSSG has been very active in three work groups and looks forward to extenting into other work groups in the near future. Involving 101 partners TSSG presented the DEMETER Project (Building a Data-Driven Innovative and Sustainable European Agri-Food Sector through Internet of Things) showcasing IoT smart farming solutions in 16 states in the EU.
