The Environmental Air Pollution Monitoring System (EAPMS) is a low-cost, portable air quality observation tool created using a Raspberry Pi and various gas sensors. The EAPMS system measures a multitude of pollutants, which are: O3, LPG, Smoke, Propane, CH4, CO2, CO, NH4, Benzene, SO2 and PM, as well as measuring temperature, relative humidity and noise levels. The EAPMS system is designed as an air quality observation tool as opposed to a precision-measurement system.

The measurements taken by the EAPMS system are collected and stored in a central database, and fed into a dashboard for real-time monitoring.
