Geoflly is working on a Science Foundation Ireland funded CONNECT Research Centre project as part of the TSSG Brain Initiative. Currently, he is investigating the neuronal signalling and communication within the human body that uses principles from communication engineering theory. The aim is to develop mechanisms able to enhance the interneuronal communication capabilities.
