Hazel qualified with a Bachelor Degree in Business and Arts Management from IADT she has over 10 years experience in Cultural and Arts Business Management. Starting her career in Interior Architecture and Design, following a diploma in Interior Architecture at Griffith College, her area of expertise was in Project Management, Negotiating and Public Relations developing further into Administration, Marketing and Funding support for not-for-profit organisations.
Her career has spanned many industries including Tourism, Equine Business, Irish Foods, Art & Cultural Organisations and Rural Development programmes.
Becoming self employed in 2006, She was nominated for Shell Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2007) and Women Breaking through in Business (2007). Her business was nominated for The David Manley Awards in 2007 and a social project she worked on ‘Mill Street Studios’ was nominated in 2010.
In 2013 she became part of a steering group with Kildare Failte that mapped out the business, marketing and brand awareness for Kildare County. In the same year she graduated from Carlow IT with an MBA.
